Higginbotham, 3rd Circuit, 1964-1965; assistant legal director, American Civil
Liberties Union, 1965-1970; adjunct assistant professor, New York University
Law School, 1970-1971; executive assistant to the mayor, New York City,
1971-1974; chair, New York City commission on human rights, 1970-1977; chair,
United States Equal Employment Opportunity Commission, 1977-1981; senior
